The 3 stripes launches a pastel parade with the Spectral Mode pack.
We’ve seen a multitude of bright colours launched by boot brands over the years. Standing out is extremely important on a crowded pitch so it came as a bit of a surprise that adidas attempted a very brave move – launching the Spectral Mode colourway that is drenched in pastel hues. It’s definitely an acquired taste as the pastel palette is usually geared towards a female audience.
Pretty in Pink – adidas Predator 18+
Seen on the feet of Mesut Ozil, the most aggressive looking boot of the collection gets a softer touch with a Trace Pink upper, Clear Orange soleplate and metallic gold sock-liner print. The Predator 18+ features a soft laceless upper that helps provide a cleaner striking zone and a responsive touch on the ball. Only included in the 18+ variation is a BOOST insole that is meant to help cushion each stride on the pitch.
White Ghost – adidas X18+
Staying true to the supernatural them, the X18+ sports a new Off-White (not that type of Off-White) colourway. The white is contrasted beautifully with a Core Black sole plate which gives off a bronze-like gloss to it. Crafted for the speedster, the X18+ is an extremely lightweight boot with a responsive fit thanks to its SKELETAL WEAVE woven upper that keeps the foot in place with each sprint towards goal.
Dash in Ash – adidas Nemeziz 18+
A dribbler’s dream, the Nemeziz is designed for those sharp twists and turns as your take on a horde of aggressive defenders. Coming in Ash Silver for the Spectral Mode pack, the sole plate is furnished with a lick of White Tint. Expect the AGILITYBANDAGES with TORSIONTAPE technology to keep your feet in place with each explosive change in direction.
