The infamous sash returns in Nike’s third jersey for Manchester City in the 2018/19 season. It was a popular design for City fans when it last made an appearance during the 2010/11 season. The orange sash is overlayed nicely against a dark purple base to create a striking look that is as easy on the eye as Guardiola’s brand of football.
As with Nike’s third jerseys this year, the print on the front of the kit features a map of the local community surrounding the club. In this case, it’s an aerial view of industrial East Manchester, the Etihad Stadium and its surrounding area though the print is a lot more subtle than other Nike third kits.
