Our sources have shared an interesting look into some of next season’s football kits. This here seems to be the final design of the Atletico Madrid home kit for the 2021/22 season.
Featuring an almost purely red and white striped aesthetic with the blue featuring on the club badge, Nike seems to have gone for a more rugged and raw design for Atletico Madrid next season.
Each stripe is bolder than what we’ve seen in past iterations but what’s most eye-catching has been the “worn paint on wood” look that is sported on the white stripes.
I’m not sure if I’m digging this look but it does give the Atletico Madrid home kit a very gritty feel to accompany the team’s abrasive style of football. If there ever was a design that personified the team’s play style, this is definitely it.
