That new kit for Manchester City sure looks… bright.
Pep Guardiola’s brand of football has inspired a new kit which is less tiki taka and more tiki cabana cocktail. The likes of Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero will be fitted in Manchester City’s third kit which looks a wee bit like a cool glass of pina colada.
It sports a gradient colourway that transitions from yellow to peach in what is one of the more… eclectic jerseys of the new season. Will the Cityzens still be able to play their brand of champagne football despite sporting a more fruity top? Most definitely so and perhaps wearing such fun colours is a new way for Silva and co. to lull opponents into a deep sense of comfort before getting ripped apart on the pitch.
