Compared to usual World Cup colourways, this year’s collection by Nike is relatively conservative with a white upper and coloured accents around the boot and on the soleplate. That said, the Just Do It pack still remains an understated beauty. Nike claim that football should be the focus with the white boots being a blank canvas to complement the team kits instead. Something tells us that our eyes would be drawn to those very white boots come Russia 2018.
The devil’s in the details as they have added a pearlescent sheen to the upper with metallic cool grey Swooshes. The boots also have premium plate finishes in the following hues: Total Orange (Mercurial 360), Volt (Hypervenom), Bright Crimson (Magista) and Blue Hero (Tiempo). Every heel counter contains a triangle with 32 lines, one line for each country in the tournament. Players will have the option of populating that triangle with a graphic representing their country’s flag in a display of national pride.
Our favourites would be the Hypervenom Phantom and the Tiempo Legend. There’s something about those blue and green hues that is calling out to us. The Just Do It pack is available at Nike.com.
[…] Baptista was one of the rare individuals who have played for both teams as he played on both sides. He copped himself the latest Nike Hypervenom Phantom DF from the Just Do It pack. Seems like someone hoping for a call up to the Brazil side. More on the Hypervenom here. […]
