The Lions will be decked out in a simple traditional red kit with the subtle motifs across the chest inspired by the scales of the iconic Merlion. Hariss Harun and co. will then turn to their blue kits when playing away – a slightly lighter shade than the usual blue used in their away kits. The players can be sure that the Vaporknit material will keep them cool, something they desperately need to climb out of their lowest FIFA ranking of 173, in the upcoming tournaments.

Unleashed: Adidas Energy Mode Predator 18+

Sleek, dangerous and modern. The Predator has been a fantastic successor to its legendary namesake and the Ace silo. Made for the playmaker and all-controlling midfielder, the Energy Mode Predator 18+ pays tribute to the yellow electricity colourway of the Adidas Predator Accelerator from 1999.

The laceless boot features Forged Knit technology that works as a compression and stability material to offer lockdown for your foot of any shape or size. The upper is also built with Controlskin, a light synthetic material which mimics the softness of leather that is designed with an aggressive design meant to assist with grip. While many would pine for the rubber strips of Predators old, the Controlskin seems like a middle ground between the aggressive touch of the past with the sleek design principles of the present.

Like the X18+, the soleplate comes in a wearable chrome finish which is sure to delight the boot collectors out there but would be the bane of those taking this bad boy to the pitch. The money shot for us is the subtle red lines that appear on the medial and lateral side of the sock as it stretches to fit your leg. The devil’s in the details and the red just adds that dash of aggression that hasn’t been in seen in a Predator since the Pulse in 2004.

All in all, The Predator 18+ is not a boot you’ll be able to take your eyes off when they take to the pitch in Russia. With Ozil, Pogba and Dele Alli take the wheels behind this bad boy, it’ll be making headlines through the World Cup for sure.

The Tigers are on the rise and nothing symbolizes that more than the new Malaysia football kit by Nike. Runners-up in the 2017 SEA Games, Malaysia will be gunning for glory in style in the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018.

Brandishing the new Football Association of Malaysia crest, the home kit takes a bold approach by having full-body tiger stripe graphics across the breathable Vaporknit material. Away from Bukit Jalil National Stadium, the team’s strip draws inspiration from the jalur gemilang (stripes of glory) of the Malaysian flag. The shirt has a solid blue body with red shoulders and sleeves and is worn with white shorts and blue socks.

The Parisian treble winners will rock Parc Des Princes in style for the 2018/19 season with the new home kit by Nike. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has seen their popularity soar these past few years with their own “galactico” project bringing many domestic titles and entertainment value to the club. From Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the new prince of Paris, Neymar Jr., fans are regularly treated to exciting, attacking football from their players.

PSG 2018/19 Home Kit

“The PSG fans are some of the noisiest in Europe and this powerful concept allowed us to do something new with the red stripe. It’s a really fresh and unique approach, but when you look at the kit you instantly recognize PSG,” says Pete Hoppins, Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director.

Rich in PSG heritage, the result is a kit designed to please to both fans and players alike. “Every time I enter the locker room, discovering my jersey with my name on the back is always a great source of pride. And when I go out on the pitch, I feel the strength of the fans. They push us to surpass ourselves,” says midfielder Marco Verratti.

Could we see PSG finally break their Champions League hoodoo next season sporting this excellent kit? Let’s hope so as we’d like to see more of Mbappe, Neymar and the team in Europe.

The PSG Home Kit 2018/19 is now available on Nike.com.
